The Macdonald of Sleat Poetry Prize 2017 award ceremony
September 30 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
This competition was inaugurated by Sir Ian, in memory of his late daughter, Deborah Fleury. The competition is run by the National Centre for Gaelic Language and Culture at Sabhal Mor Ostaig. Each year the theme of the competition is based on trees and this year the poets were asked to relate their poem to branches.
The award ceremony will be held in the Museum of the Isles, Armadale Castle at 11am on Saturday 30th September 2017, when all are invited to hear the winning poem.
