Run the Skye Mile at Clan Donald SkyeOn Sunday 25 March Clan Donald Skye will be hosting the Skye Mile Charity Run for Sport Relief 2012. As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise money and change lives - so it’s time to dust off those trainers now. Setting off from the Visitor Centre the Clan Donald Skye Mile will pass through the historic gardens and through the woodland trails around the estate, taking in views over the Sound of Sleat to the hills of Knoydart, and is set to be an incredible event. Entrants don’t have to be sporty to take part, but can choose to complete 1, 3 or 6 miles knowing that all the money raised will help to change the lives of people living unimaginably tough lives right here on our doorstep, across the rest of the UK and in some the world’s poorest countries.This is the first Sport Relief Mile on the Isle of Skye and it’s set to be a great event.
