A Book of Remembrance
The Clan Donald Lands Trust Book of Remembrance has been placed at Armadale to provide a lasting record and dignified memorial.
One page is allocated to each day of the year and the Book is displayed open at the corresponding day, in a protective glass case so that the memorial entries may be seen on each anniversary.
The Volumes of the Book of Remembrance are hand made throughout using well proven medieval techniques, bound in hide, featuring the Shield and Motto of the Clan Donald Lands Trust and a tartan panel; protected by gold plated bars thus providing a binding which will last many centuries. The memorial entries are carefully inscribed by highly skilled artists.The memorial entry may be inscribed in the Book of Remembrance under the date of death, or any other anniversary.
The minimum entry is of two lines, and would consist of the name on the top line, with the date of birth, etc, on the second line.
A three line entry could include any other salutation, or wording, etc.
Entries of five lines or more may include a Clan Crest, Regimental Badge, other emblems, or with a delicate water colour painting of any flower, etc, which might be of significance to the family.
Personal copies of the inscriptions as they appear in the Book are available in a Memorial Folder.

Personal Copies of the Entry in a Memorial Folder Charges
The Folder Remembrance Card measures approximately 6 inches by 5 inches, is available in blue with either the Cross and Glory or a floral design blocked on the outside in simulated gold, and is supplied with a protective PVC coach-hide wallet.On the inside, underneath the anniversary date, carefully inscribed by hand, is a copy of the original inscription as it appears in the Book of Remembrance.
